The air temperature in April is generally in the 70's while the water tem- perature is around 72. ACCOMODATIONS: THE INN - Guest rooms and one bedroom suites, located adjacent to the Conference Center and Sports Complex with small in-room kitchens and private balconies. BAYSIDE VILLA - One, two, and three bedroom condominiums equipped with full kitchens, washers and dryers. BAYVIEW/GULFWALK - Two and three bedroom villas with full kitch- ens,washer and dryer, and private patios or balconies. BEACHSIDE TOWERS - Executive suites, one and two bedroom units with full kitchens,washer and dryer, and private patios or balco- nies. Room reservations must be made at least 45 days prior to arrival. Reservation requests made after this date will be handled on a space available basis only. A package price has been negotiated for rooms at the INN plus meals. A modified American plan meal package will include break- fast on Monday - Wednesday and group dinners on Sunday - Tuesday. A variety of commuter connections are available at all three airports. STUDENT AND JUNIOR FACULTY GRANTS: There will be a limited number of grants available for graduate students. This will include a small stipend (probably a few hun- dred dollars depending on the number of applications received) in addition to a waiver of the registration fee. Also a waiver of the registration fee for Assistant Professors may be available. Graduate students interested in receiving a grant should submit (to the General Chair) a cover letter, an outline of their thesis work, and a letter of recommendation from their advisor. Junior faculty interested in the registration fee waiver should submit (to the General Chair) a letter giving a summary of current and past research along with a list of publications.
